01 / About the company
How big is Zeqlar, honestly?
Small and deliberately so. It is founder-led, and senior specialists join for the parts that need them. You will always know exactly who is on your project and you will never be handed to someone you have not met. If a job is bigger than we can do well, we say so.
You are new. Why should I take the risk?
You should not take a large one. Start with the discovery sprint: it is short, it is fixed price and you keep the plan whether or not you continue with us. That is a small, bounded way to find out how we think before you commit real budget.
What happens if you become unavailable?
The code lives in your repository from the first commit, not ours. It is documented as we go and built on standard tools with no private dependencies, so another team can pick it up. We are not a single point of failure by design, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Are you a registered company?
Yes. Zeqlar Solutions FZE - LLC holds service licence 2621318058888 from Ajman NuVentures Centre Free Zone, covering ten activities including software development, artificial intelligence, hosting and consultancy. The office is at Amber Gem Tower, Al Rashidiya 3, Ajman, and we can share the licence document on request before you sign anything.
02 / Money and contracts
Who owns the code and the data?
You do, both of them, from day one and in writing. We keep no rights over what we build for you and we do not reuse your code for another client. Your data stays yours and we never train anything on it.
What if the project runs over?
On a fixed-price build, an estimate we got wrong is our cost to absorb, not yours. What does change the price is you changing the scope, and even then we quote it in writing and wait for a yes before touching it.
Will you sign our NDA and contract?
Yes. We work under your paperwork and your procurement process. If you do not have a template we will provide a short plain-language agreement instead of a forty-page one.
03 / The work itself
Where will our data be hosted?
Wherever your rules require. UAE region hosting is available if data must stay in country, and we will tell you plainly what each option costs and what it constrains. You hold the accounts, we get access rather than ownership.
Can you work alongside our own developers?
Often that is the better arrangement. We can take one part of a system, set up the architecture your team then builds on, or review what exists and tell you what we would change. We are not precious about owning all of it.
Is the AI real or is it a wrapper?
Depends on the problem, and we will tell you which one you are buying. Plenty of jobs are solved best by calling an existing model, and paying to train a custom one would be waste. When training is genuinely warranted we will say that too, with the cost attached.
What do you turn down?
Work we cannot do well: very large multi-team programmes, anything needing 24/7 staffed operations, and projects where the deadline makes a decent job impossible. We also turn down work where we think you do not need software at all. Saying that costs us a fee and keeps our reputation.
